"The TreeHugger's Ball and Green Expo is where OC hippies, sustainability experts and canyon hillbillies annually join hands for a jamboree under the canopy of Oaks and Sycamores in Silverado Canyon, CA!" ~OC Weekly

WHO WE ARE...WHAT THE TREEHUGGR'S BALL IS ALL ABOUT

The Canyon Land Conservation Fund, a local Orange County non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the few remaining wild lands of the Santa Ana Mountains, is the host of  The Annual TreeHuggr's Ball and Sustainability Fair located at the Santiago Event Center near the proposed Blackstar Wilderness Park in Silverado Canyon, CA.

The TreeHuggr's Ball is an acclaimed "ZERO WASTE" event and features an environmental expo of
local sustainable goods and businesses, arts & crafts, environmental groups, a silent auction, guest speakers, no host beer, wine and margartita bar, health minded food trucks, along with 5 hours of music and dancing to award winning Folk, Bluegrass, Rock, and Blues musicians.

Along with a sustainability expo, dinner and Eco guest speakers, such as Appalachia hero Judy Bonds and Hollywood activist Daryl Hannah, the TreeHuggr's Ball then turns into a backwoods dance party of costumed dancers, blues lovers and reggae rockers! Music line-up of the past nine years has included the Juaneno Band of Mission Indians, young Folk artist Maya Burns, the Mike Reilly Band, This Side Up Blues, Lillies of the West, Norm & Robin Sancho, Better Chemistry, Nick I Hernandez & Rod Piazza, and of course, the OC"s favorite Grateful Dead experience...CUBENSIS!

All donations and proceeds of The Treehuggr's Ball & Sustainability Expo go directly to the CLCF non profit organization for conservation efforts within the Santa Ana Mountains of Orange County.

Sorry, there's no TreeHuuggr's Ball planned for this year but we are taking donations!
